CenterStage - Also known as Echelon and Amir have been working on their music together for the past nine years. It all started in the winter of 2000 when the two young aspiring rap artists would reunite in the back row of a local junior college lecture hall. This chance meeting would solidify a commonality in music and lead to the conception of CenterStage. CenterStage was developed with the idea of bringing local hip hop, soul, and R&B to the back into spotlight in the Bay Area. You first heard CenterStage on the Fastrak Entertainment Independent release “The Beginning “in 2003. CenterStage was also featured in the 2005 solo release from Chil Will “All Frames of the Game”. In March 2009, CenterStage released their highly anticipated debut album "Passion" which features the hit single Whistle. See discography below:
